Software Test Engineer

Location: Seattle (downtown)

We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test that will become part of a fast growing enthusiastic engineering team.  You will help define and drive the quality metrics of the overall product.  You will be building the testing infrastructure to test large and ever-growing distributed system.  This is a unique opportunity to work with our product and engineering teams to scope out features and understand customer requirements, then work to ensure quality of our system.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience in software testing (building automated tests and frameworks)
- Strong coding skills in Java/C++ or any other OO language
- Experience with scripting languages (Perl/Ruby/Python, etc)
- Knowledge of basic Unix/Linux tools and scripting languages is a plus
- Experience in designing and building test tools and frameworks
- Experience in testing web services at the API and feature level.
- Familiarity with stress and performance testing is a plus.

- Excellent object oriented analysis and design skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Self motivated and result oriented.

*Ten or more years of experience developing and shipping system software, such as core operating system components, networking stack, distributed file systems, databases, etc.
*Cross-platform software development in C#/Java/C++
*Depth of knowledge in networking, protocol design, and concurrent systems
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to work independently as well as in small groups
*Previous experience in startups is a big plus
*Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
*Passion and desire to make an impact
