Sr. Software Engineer - Core Services (Java, C#, C++) // Seattle, WA


We are looking for a Software Engineer that will become part of our current A-Player team. If you answered yes to all of the questions above, you have the right attitude and mindset to come and talk to us. But of course as any other jobs would require, we do have some requirements.

Do you want to…

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good debugging skills.
  • Able to work together, not against, your coworkers (unless you're competing for the last soda in the fridge).
Requirements
  • Have a BS/Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Math, or Physics.
  • Worked in the software industry for 2+ years.
  • Have passion for building scalable and reliable server software.
    Strong coding skills in a modern object-oriented language (Java, C#, C++, ActionScript 3, etc.)
  • Worked with source control systems (such as Subversion, Mercurial, Perforce, etc.).
  • Understanding of client-server architecture.Experience in scaling systems.
  • Worked with a database system (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages.
  • Knows Ruby.
  • Passion to do code reviews (or at least willing to).
  • Experienced with MVC design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Javascript (especially server-side javascript technologies such as Node)
  • Familiarity with open source projects/community such as Hadoop/NoSQL
